There are realities from our childhood and adolescence that have marked us positively and negatively. It is important to note which of these realities we carry as we enter into our relationships.

Behold Vancouver is offering a three-part online series on Healthy Relationships, with an opportunity for Q&A following a formal presentation by various presenters. 

Speaker: Fr. John McCarthy

Our second presentation in the series, The Things We Carry, will be given by Father John McCarthy. Father John was ordained in 1987 at Holy Rosary Cathedral by Archbishop James Carney. He most recently served as Pastor at Saint Nicholas’ Parish in Langley before being mandated by Archbishop Michael Miller to offer human formation in the Archdiocese using the approach of PRH (Personality and Human Relations), a school of psychology. 

In April 2011, after 5 years of training, Father John was accredited as a licenced PRH Educator/Counselor. The aim of PRH education is two-fold, to help persons: 1) discover and foster the riches of their creation; and, 2) free and remove obstacles that prevent persons from living their richness. PRH education is offered through tools in workshops, group support, and/or individual counselling. 

• Part 1 – Thursday, March 25th (7:30pm to 9:00pm)
• Part 2 – Thursday, April 29th (7:30pm to 9:00pm)
• Part 3 – Thursday, May 27th (7:30pm to 9:00pm)

This event to open to all adults, whether single, dating or married.
