St. Paul articulated some of his most profound insights in response to concrete challenges faced by early Christian communities. Join us as we explore how Paul tried to solve problems related to such topics as marriage, ministry and fraught relationships with governing powers. His insights still provide vital guidance for us today.

In his letters, St. Paul sought to heal divisions in local Churches. Join us as we explore how Paul’s writings, particularly 1 Corinthians, were aimed at building unity among followers of Jesus. His guidance is relevant today as we seek to overcome divisions in our own communities, whether they be our families or the Church.


Paul Proclaims the Gospel

Saturday, January 15, 2022 | 7:00 – 8:30 pm

St. Paul was one of the first to articulate and proclaim the Gospel. Focusing particularly on Romans, we will explore the major features of Paul’s presentation of the Good News. Just as it did for Paul’s original audience, this message has the potential to reinvigorate our lives.


Speaker: Fr. Nick Meisl

Fr. Nick was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Vancouver in 2013. He holds a License from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. Fr. Nick currently teaches at Corpus Christi and St. Mark’s Colleges and serves in parish and high school ministry.
