About this Event
The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis is the story of the journey of a man taking a bus ride from Hell to Heaven. Along the way, he follows several people who, upon arriving in Heaven, meet people and situations from their past lives. Some decide to return to Hell because they prefer their way of living and thinking while others are transformed and enter into the greater joy of Heaven. Each chapter is a vignette about a different character and their journey towards or away from eternal happiness, all while encountering the deadly sins and the beauty of doing things God's way.
Young adults aged 19-35 are welcome to a book study with the Religious Sisters of the Archdiocese. Meetings will occur on:
- Friday, November 3 (6-8:30 p.m.)
- Friday, February 9 (6-8:30 p.m.)
- Saturday, April 6 (12:30- 3 p.m.)
This is a great opportunity to connect with other young adults and the Religious Sisters of the Archdiocese in a discussion setting. It also offers a chance to go deeper in overcoming the struggles of living a Christian life in the modern world. A copy of the book can be purchased here. For any questions, please contact Sister Mary Martha, OP, at [email protected].
