About this Event

A special mass for Our Lady on the Feast of her glorious Assumption! ~50 singers from across the Lower Mainland will gather together to sing Morales' Missa de Beata Virgine alongside Gregorian chant and organ extemporisation at Holy Rosary Cathedral for a Traditional Latin Mass. Led by MOTET Chamber Choir, the last time this event was held three years ago, we had a reported ~650 people in attendance.

Rehearsals start Wed 6 July and interested choristers are invited to sign up at our website. Spots are limited due to the size of the choir loft at the cathedral, and a fee will be collected to cover costs of music and rehearsals. Attendance at the actual mass, of course, is free.
