About this Event
A dozen of parishes in the Archdiocese of Vancouver are livestreaming Simbang Gabi this year! That is really great news not only for the Filipino community but for all Catholics in the Archdiocese. It gives us the opportunity to build up towards our celebration of Christmas by a novena of masses in honour of and in union with the Blessed Virgin Mary in anticipation of the coming of the Lord. The novena masses start on Dec. 15 in most parishes and ends on Dec. 23, just right into entering Christmas itself. For those parishes who will be celebrating Simbang Gabi in the morning, they will start on Dec. 16 and end on Dec. 24.
With the BC Provincial Health Office's latest instructions on gatherings, we unfortunately are unable to have in-person mass for our traditional Filipino event.
We instead invite the faithful to the various live streamed masses to complete the 9 days of devotion.
Please refer to the schedule, found on the link below, for the various schedule of live streamed masses for Simbang Gabi.
Thank you and Maligayang Pasko sa Inyong Lahat (Merry Christmas to all.)
