About this Event
The great spiritual director St. Claude de la Colombiere said, "It is all the more remarkable that the more we submit to God's will, the more He tries to meet our wishes." Very often in our lives and in our prayers we hold hidden conditions, expectations and desires that can be obstacles to a deeper union with Christ, and in turn an obstacle to the efficacy of our prayers. In this talk we will learn how to uncover and remove some of those hidden obstacles and how to move forward in prayer with deeper trust, peace and joy.
This event is being hosted by St. Monica's Mission, A Prayerful Journey of Perseverance and Hope. St. Monica's Mission is a year-long initiative of the Archdiocese to support parents who are grieving the loss of their adult child’s faith in the Catholic Church.
