About this Event
The Catholic moral tradition recognizes that social and economic inequities unfairly disadvantage some people in our communities creating disparate suffering, and that we have a social and human obligation to give more of ourselves and our institutions to those with the greatest need.
This forum features Visiting Scholar Dr. Alexandre Martins, nurse and theologian, joined by Crosstown Clinic Physician Lead Dr. Scott MacDonald, and Hope for Health Peer Support Worker, Chad Ellsworth, who will provide various perspectives on how Catholic health care can fulfill its commitment to justice and improve service and access to people who face exceptional barriers to care.
Lunch will be provided.
