About this Event

This event is open to all our Spanish speaking community in the lower mainland, especially on the North Shore where Christ the Redeemer parish is located. The first miraculous apparition of Virgin Holy Mother of God out at Tepeyac Mountain in Mexico occurred in December 1531. The Catholic Church has constantly paid the Virgin Mary special piety and worship. The Marian devotion to Guadalupe is foundational in the Christian history of Mexico and the evangelization of the entire American Continent. That’s why this event is open to anyone that has faith in the interstation of the mother of God to help us to be closer to her son, Jesus.

The event is organized by Christ the Redeemer Parish.

The Mass in Spanish will take place at Christ the Redeemer Parish located in 599 Keith Rd West Vancouver at 7:30 p.m. on Monday December 12th. After the Mass we invite all the attendees to come to the parish’s Lost & Found Coffeehouse for a social with food and music.

Este evento está abierto a toda nuestra comunidad de habla hispana en Vancouver, especialmente en North Shore, donde se encuentra la parroquia Christ The Redeemer o Cristo Redentor. La devoción mariana a Guadalupe es fundamental en la historia cristiana de México y la evangelización de todo el continente americano. Este evento está abierto a todo aquel que tenga fe en la intersección de la madre de Dios para ayudarnos a estar más cerca de su hijo, Jesús. Misa en español en honor a la Virgen de Guadalupe. Se llevará a cabo en la parroquia Christ the Redeemer ubicada en 599 Keith Rd West Vancouver a las 7:30 p.m. el lunes 12 de diciembre. Después de la misa, invitamos a todos los asistentes a pasar por Lost & Found Café de la parroquia para un compartir y reunión social con comida y música.
