About this Event

It seems that everyday we hear yet another example of how AI (artificial intelligence) is affecting our lives. Even beyond AI, our world has experienced a technology transformation unlike we have seen in history. Digital money processing apps enable cartels and transnational gangs to blackmail our kids for large amounts of money. Geolocation software and the ability of AI to create deep fakes which can destroy innocent lives put everyone at risk of exploitation. Global 5G  high-speed Internet opens the door to our kid's bedrooms for access by criminal organizations in faraway places like Nigeria, Pakistan, the Ivory Coast and other developing countries to interact with our kids and trick them into being compromised in ways we could not even imagine 12 months ago.

Certainly all of this sounds negative and somewhat scary. But it does not have to be.

God is still in charge. In fact, this might be the greatest calling in all of history for Christian leadership. How we prepare this generation of young people to live in a world of technology in a way that honours God and themselves will set the stage for all future generations. As pastors and Christian leaders, it is critical to comprehend the world we live in and create planned and concerted programs to prepare parents and youth to live in a world without borders and a home without walls.

Our key note speaker Is Opal Singleton, a nationally recognized cyber exploitation expert and the author of the book Societal Shift, A World Without Borders and a Home Without Walls.
