About this Event

There was a dream that the 500th Anniversary of Christianity in the Philippines could be commemorated in a permanent fashion in our Archdiocese, and it is now reality! A Shrine, dedicated to the Sto. Niño has been built on the property of St. Anthony of Padua in Agassiz, and thanks to the generosity of so many people, is now complete! The Blessing of the Shrine and Enthronement of the Holy Image of Sto. Niño will take place on Saturday, August 20th at 4 pm with our Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB as the main celebrant. You are invited to share in this momentous occasion. If you wish to bring your own food for refreshments for after the celebration, you are very welcome to do this. Food vendors will also be there if you wish to buy food. Please bring your own chair for the outdoor Mass.
