The Archdiocese of Vancouver and Compassionate Community Care present “Being With” Volunteer Training, a free training to gain the confidence to visit and journey with those who are suffering, socially isolated, sick, or dying, in order to renew their hope and purpose in life. This practical training session will give you the tools you need to make a difference in someone’s life. A workbook is included.

About the Speaker/Organization

Our speaker is Alex Schadenberg, the Executive Director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition. He has worked tirelessly to inform and educate people on the dangers of euthanasia and assisted suicide. He is also Chairperson for EPC -International and has been involved in many campaigns in various countries. Alex gives guidance and advice to those who are in difficult situations at the end of life.
He has authored articles published in newspapers worldwide and maintains the world’s most widely read the blog on issues related to euthanasia and assisted suicide. He has co-produced the Euthanasia Deception documentary and the Fatal Flaws film.
