The most vulnerable individuals are facing potential risks within the current well-funded and structured MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying) system. However, there are proactive measures we can take.

Delta Hospice Society is actively engaging community members to become 'Guardian Angels,' offering support and resources to empower individuals to choose life until its natural conclusion.

Hosted by the St. Nicholas Catholic Women’s League, our guest speakers are Angelina Ireland, Executive Director of the Delta Hospice Society, and Father Mark Miller, bioethicist.

Father Mark Miller will be speaking on ethical treatment in the care of the dying, the meaning of a good death in Christian tradition, the spiritual journey of dying, the importance to society in care for the dying.
