About this Event

Grief can be unpredictable. It comes and goes, sometimes in waves. It affects our sense of well-being and changes us forever.

Christmas is a time for family, but if we have lost someone it can be a particularly difficult time. Everything has changed. We can keep busy during the holiday season but what happens afterwards?

Join us for this seminar presented by Denis Boyd to discuss grief and some coping strategies to help with the letdown we sometimes feel after Christmas, when everyone has returned home, the decorations are put away and we are settling into a new year.

He received his Master of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia in 1977 and is a member of the B.C. College of Psychologists and the B.C. Psychological Association. He is the author of the book, Marriage Can be Great! …no really. Most importantly Denis has been married to Maureen Boyd for over forty years and they have four children and four grandchildren.
