Life can be overwhelming sometimes. Whether you're having a hard time navigating family relationships, issues with your partner or friends, or work-related issues, you may find yourself feeling alone or unsupported. Sometimes it's hard for loved ones to understand what we're going through, despite how much they care about us. You may find yourself wondering why you are the way you are, or having a hard time understanding your emotions, or wishing to experience more joy in life. Your life may appear to be in order on the outside, but on the inside, you may feel forgotten or left behind. You wish things could be different, but you're not sure where to start or how to make a change.
I understand how difficult it can be to navigate life sometimes. My hope for you as a client is to feel seen and understood through our work together, so you can start to understand and accept yourself. I work from a Self-Compassion lens to help you develop a kinder relationship to yourself, so you are better able to navigate your emotional world and relationships.
I work with young adults, families, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, life transitions, cultural issues, and relationships. I primarily use Self-Compassion-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
