Learn about the rich teachings and practices of our Catholic faith from Father Vincent Hawkswell and Maureen Creelman in their course The Catholic Faith in Plain English. This free, 36-week-long course will be offered both in person and online this year starting on September 3, 2023. This course is suitable for all adult learners including Catholics and non-Catholics.
The Sunday class will be at the St. John Paul II Pastoral Centre in Vancouver (4885 St. John Paul II Way, corner of 33rd and Willow, entry through the south doors) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Monday class will be at St. Anthony’s Parish in West Vancouver (2347 Inglewood Avenue) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Course materials (videos and print resources) will be posted every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. The videos are pre-recorded so you’ll be able to view them whenever it’s convenient for you.
Attendees of the live sessions will receive print resources on-site.
